Development for 'To Find the Light' began in July 2023. The story (influenced by the films of Hayao Miyazaki) focuses on 3 orbs of light navigating an awe inspiring expanse.
The characters, and the world in which they inhabit are directly affected and driven by an organic soundscape, part recorded on location in forests by Josh Warner.
The film aims to blend the beauty and power of early Japanese mythology with modern animation techniques. Sounds taken from local northern and Scottish woodlands harmonise with this to create a dreamy, indeterminate but familiar backdrop for our story.
